Beyond a delicious menu composed by our hosts with a variety of local dishes that cater to all preferences, this year's Hosted Dinner is also an opportunity to discover local wines – thanks to generous support from the Greek Wine Federation – whose General Director, Theodoros Georgopoulos, will introduce to us.
Wine has been an integral part of Greek culture for over 4000 years. With more than 300 indigenous grape varieties grown under excellent environmental circumstances, some of which have been cultivated since ancient times, the Greek wine industry is recognized throughout the world.
Created in 1995, the Greek Wine Federation aims, among others, at the developing the production and distribution of Greek wines and vinicultural products through research and technological innovation.
