As cultural districts and the organizations that comprise them are under increasing pressure due to issues of affordability, polarization, safety, and inclusivity, new models for governing cultural spaces have emerged. This session will use a fishbowl style format to explore how these models expand ownership and democratize decision-making to ensure that cultural districts remain affordable for artists and accessible, equitable public spaces for all.
