The tour will begin at The Ellinikon Experience Park, and more specifically The Ellinikon Experience Centre.
The Ellinikon Experience Centre introduces The Ellinikon project to the world and highlights the site’s legendary history and the project’s ambitious vision. Housed in a restored heritage-listed former Aviation Hangar, it reveals the past, present and future of The Ellinikon. Through five interactively enhanced thematic zones, visitors will delve into the greatest urban development project in Europe, embarking upon a sustainable, smart, and innovative future.
The tour will continue and end with The Eero Saarinen Terminal Building within the premises of Ellinikon.
The former East Terminal building was originally designed and built between the years 1959 and 1963 and was one of the last works by world-renowned Finnish-born American architect Eero Saarinen (1910 – 1961). It will be our pleasure to welcome you all to witness the majesty of this beautiful architectural gem.
We shall then meet back at The Experience Park where you may enjoy a stroll around at your own time and pace.
