[WORKSHOP INDOORS] DIGITAL PLACEMAKING FOR LOCAL COMMUNITIES

Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Digital placemaking is focused on attracting communities of all types to deepen their connection with the public realm and, in turn, with each other. Tailored in the right way, technology can bring a space to life, helping to reinforce a place’s identity and most importantly, delivering a center that is of, by and for the community. Creating the right conditions for an engaging and meaningful experience requires careful preparation on the part of the practitioner; it cannot happen by accident.

In this workshop Smartify CoFounder Thanos Kokkiniotis will share best practice from a range of case studies from UK, US and beyond; and lead a strategic ideation workshop, helping attendees develop their own community-centered digital initiatives.
